Join us from April to July for our Disarming the Climate Crisis training programme! Over eight online sessions we will be joined by activists, researchers and organisers from around the world who will share their experience and knowledge of taking action at the intersection of militarism and the climate crisis.

In January, organisations from across different regions working on conscientious objection to military service submitted reports to the OHCHR. The reports document key developments over the past four years, including changes in legislation, new restrictions, cases of prosecution, and ongoing challenges faced by conscientious objectors worldwide.

A new report published by the Lithuanian-based human rights organisation Our House reveals how militarisation in Belarus begins long before young people reach conscription age. Focusing on developments throughout 2025, the report documents how the education system itself is shaped around “pre-conscription training,” which embeds military values from early childhood.

In late November, the WRI network gathered in Barcelona, Spain, for four days of discussion and deliberation, building solidarity, and sharing experiences of resisting war and its causes in a diversity of contexts.
