Burghfield Disarmament Camp, UK

Activists from across Europe occupied Ministry of Defence land outside Burghfield AWE, in protest at the ongoing development of the base.
Burghfield plays a key role in the UK governments plans to replace the Trident nuclear weapons system. On Monday 2nd September the base was
blockaded for several hours by groups from the UK, France, Belgium, Spain, Finland, Holland and Germany. The base was completely shut for
one hour and 21 were arrested.
