For a second year in a row WRI is grateful to have a Quaker Peace and Social Witness Peaceworker. Last year we were lucky to have Owen Everett who worked on WRI's countering the militarisation of youth project. Last week Andrew Dey started his one year Peaceworker placement, where he will work 4 days a week with WRI and 1 day a week with Action AWE - a UK campaign against nuclear weapons. Andrew's main project will be the publication of a second edition of WRI's Handbook for Nonviolent Campaigns. The first edition has been a huge success, in particular because of the number of languages it has been translated into. The second edition will build on the experience of people who have used and translated the handbook.
