With this script I declare publicly my conscious objection to fulfill any military service for the reasons listed below.

The reasons I want to serve in a government department and not in the bodies of the Army are:

1) I am ideologically against Army and weapons and when I say weapons I mean weapons of mass destruction (bombs, chemical and nuclear weapons), the firearms which I classify those as mass destruction too and also of human weapons , all people who have trained to kill other people after the order of their superiors.
2) I am against the death penalty in peacetime and in wartime.
3) I am against the choice of war as action to resolve any problems of humanity and I am in favor of political solutions through dialogue.
4) I am against military intervention to restore democracy or establishing democracy in any country from another country or military alliance such as NATO do (North Atlantic Treaty Organization). I think a country where citizens have not required to have a democracy will not be able to keep democracy  when the invading army ,that has imposed this democracy, is gone .
5) I refuse to serve in any way any division of army even if not grab a gun in my hands because I think that an office worker for an army contribute to the functioning of the body which makes co-responsible for all deaths associated and associated this body in the future . By extending this ideology and recognizing that a body needs to function all of the instruments together starting from the preparatory organs to the executive so I shall be responsible for all the deaths that have resulted from military interventions ( civilians and soldiers ) as will be responsible all who have served in anywhere army of the world and had the choice of state law to refuse making an alternative service .

To justify all the reasons above , follows a text with modern historical examples that demonstrate the ineffective action of the war to the problems of humanity.

Since the Second World War and until today we have the UN (United Nations) and NATO two organizations which by their constitution try for world peace. But all these years the war is a reality for the world. Although there have been few wars between two countries where we have the classic definition of war, many times we had interventions by army alliances.
Whether it is the NATO do or smaller alliances as happened in the recent war in Iraq where the explanation of the minister of defense of the U.S. did not convinced all the multinational alliance of NATO  to intervene, but that did not stop the invasion that had more than 100,000 civilians dead according to official figures . In the example of the invasion of Iraq in 2003, the defense minister and former General of the U.S. Colin Powell in an attempt to justify the invasion to create a Republic presented to the UN false information , as it has been proved later , which reported factories chemical weapons of mass destruction . So knowing this or not the minister misled the public by creating terror for chemical weapons that have been banned from the 1st World War and led the American-British force in the bombing of Iraq and then rebuild from construction companies of American interests. In this example we see how some financial interests (weapon industries, construction companies) benefit from war and perhaps is behind the staffs who prepare the war.

Another example of military invasion by destructive results for humanity until today is the military intervention ( invasion ) of the USSR ( Union of Soviet Socialist Republics ) in Afghanistan where all they did was the beginning of an endless war until today , after the U.S. unfair considering this invasion through the CIA (Central Intelligence Agency) sent weapons and trained the Taliban, who were not content to the liberation of their country from the USSR but proceeded to known terrorist blows reason that according to my own conclusions they had learned hatred of war which perpetuate until today without any real results.With these example I want to say that even the Soviet Union preaching the liberation of the people using the war had the opposite effect. At this point I would note here another consequence of the intervention in Afghanistan which I think was the revolt of the Chechens who drowned in the blood and this support that the leaders of Chechnya who chose armed struggle for independence had fought in Afghanistan as Russians soldiers and learned hatred of war, to kill.

I also want to say that the good will of the United Nations for world peace is not enough since the interventions, by reason of the restoration of democracy or establishing a democracy, are several the last decades and for me these interventions is war with disastrous consequences for humanity.

 Greece is a country that in recent decades has not gone to war . But because of the geographical position and its participation in NATO  has help many times to conduct operations (wars). So I think of the Greek army in part responsible for the deaths that took place in these interventions. Only during the time of my life Greece has supported the interventions in Yugoslavia, Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya.

The war in Libya for example , French Mirage aircraft with French pilots and Qatary pilots attempted by American base at Souda located in the territory of the Greek island of Crete , which base is supported by the Greek armed forces . These information may find everyone after released from the NET ( New Greek Television ) to broadcast that was made to highlight these bombing as success of Greece . Similar and perhaps greater assistance given to the multinational forces produced  the invasions I mentioned at the end of the previous paragraph.

So serving in the armed services is believed by my ideology to provide help in the preparation of wars which finds me opposed. While serving in a public service that I'm helping the community using the right law N. 3421/2005 gives me the as a Greek citizen.

I'm with the brotherhood of peoples

I am in favor of global disarmament of all weapons as this would give us the ability to mankind for real peace.

I refuse to surrender my will, I want to continue to be responsible for all my actions.
