Statement by Noam Bahat

"On 16 January 2003 I began a hunger strike, and have not taken in any food since. I intend to continue this hunger strike for as long as I am held in prison. The reason for this hunger strike is my wish to protest against the imprisonment and treatment of conscientious objectors by the State of Israel, as well as against the crimes of the occupation of Palestine".
