Call for Inputs: UN OHCHR Report on Conscientious Objection to Military Service
The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) has opened a call for inputs to inform its upcoming report on conscientious objection to military service, which will be presented to the Human Rights Council at its 62nd session in June 2026.
The report will follow Human Rights Council Resolution 20/2, which requests OHCHR to prepare a quadrennial analytical report on developments, best practices, and remaining challenges in relation to conscientious objection to military service.
This is an opportunity for NGOs, national human rights institutions, and civil society organisations to share information, experiences, and recommendations concerning the right to conscientious objection, including recent trends, good practices, and challenges.
