Presentation Available: OHCHR reporting on the right to conscientious objection
On 10th July, the Quaker United Nations Office (QUNO), Connection e.V and War Resisters' International held a webinar to present the OHCHR report on the right to Conscientious Objection (A/HRC/56/30). Daniel Møgster of the OHCHR introduced the report. During the webinar, the participants had the opportunity to ask questions related to the report and highlight some issues regarding their countries and individual cases.

In the report, the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights provides recommendations on legal and policy frameworks to uphold human rights in the context of conscientious objection to military service following States’ obligations under international human rights law and applicable international human rights standards
