Turkey: VR-DER bulletin on conscientious objection

Conscientious Objection Association Turkey (VR- DER) has released the first issue of its Conscientious Objection Bulletin including updates on conscientious objection to military service in Turkey.

The bulletin, to be published bi-monthly, will be both in English and Turkish and will document the ongoing rights violations of conscientious objectors (COs) in Turkey.

In its first issue it covers updates from November-December 2020, including declarations by conscientious objectors, rights violations of conscripts and conscientious objectors, as well as VR-DER's activities on supporting COs.
