WRI's Nonviolence Programme has published a new interview with a representative from the Save Sinjajevina campaign, who managed to stop NATO soldiers from using a unique pasturelands in the highlands of Montenegro for training and target practice. In the interview, Pablo Dominquez explores the context of the campaign, how an alliance of herders, young people, environmentalists and international NGOs was built, why they were so effective in stopping the training exercise, and what the long term future of the campaign looks like.
