Dear Minister,

I am writing to ask you to drop the charges against Netiwit Chotiphatphaisal and the thirty eight other people charged with sedition and violating the ban on public assembly.

Nonviolent protest is a crucial element of a thriving society. Thailand has ratified the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights which protects freedom of expression and the right of peaceful assembly. We ask you respect these rights and drop the charges levelled at these peaceful protesters.

Yours sincerely,

We have had a kind offer from an individual donor, who will match up to £5,000 of donations from others - so by supporting War Resisters' International today your donation is worth double!
