Kosovo Emergency Appeal
Until the NATO bombing WATFY supported two women's groups in Pristina, Kosova, one working with people already displaced by the escalation of Serbian police and military action, and another working on an income generating project for Kosovar women.
NATO's bombing campaign, the massive increase in Serbian state violence and the forced expulsions from Kosova meant that our contacts were severed. We assumed that these groups were na longer operating. Now, women from one group have managed to reach Macedonia. They have contacted us, and asked us to help them start their work again. We need your money to enable us to help them provide long-term support to refugees once the initial work by the big agencies is over.
Stay up to date with our international antimilitarist activism.
