Legal info
Green and Black Cross will also be attending our meeting on Friday to give us a briefing on the weekend's protests and your rights. They will especially be focusing on the situation for internationals and those with visas. You are welcome to also read this information in advance if you would like to https://www.stopthearmsfair.org.uk/know-your-rights/
Please note however that the events on Saturday and Sunday will not involve risking arrest – unless you want to.
Travelling around London
The easiest way to travel around London is by using an Oyster card, which works on all forms of transport. You can get one at any London Underground station e.g. Heathrow if you arrive there, or St Pancras if you are coming by Eurostar, etc. You give a £5 refundable deposit, so you can give it back when you leave if you want to. A guide to Oyster use is here: https://tfl.gov.uk/fares-and-payments/oyster/what-is-oyster
The best way to plan your travel around London from your accommodation to the venues above is to use CityMapper, which you can use either online or download it as an app to your phone.
Accessibility
If you need information on travelling around London, there is a handy map here: http://content.tfl.gov.uk/step-free-tube-guide-map.pdf (Please note that both Prince Regent and Euston stations have step-free routes through the stations and to trains.)
Any questions?
Feel free to write to us in advance, or, if there is anything you would like more information on, we will be giving a full breakdown of what will be happening over the weekend at our meeting from 4pm on Friday!
