War Resisters' International learned about more recent imprisonments of conscientious objectors, while the court martials of all together six conscientious objectors continue (see http://wri-irg.org/news/htdocs/20030919a.html).
Shuki Sadeh (ISR12333) was sentenced to 28 days in Military Prison 4 on 30 September 2003. He is due out on 25 October 2003. Shuki Sadeh already spent 28 days in prison in July 2002 (see http://wri-irg.org/news/htdocs/24072002b.html.)
Dan Goldenblatt (ISR13793) was sentenced to 28 days in Military Prison for refusing to serve in the Occupied Territories on 7 October 2003. He is due out on 1 November 2003.
Asa Meron (ISR13794) was sentenced to 17 days in Military Prison 6 for refusing to serve in the Occupied Territories on 14 October 2003. He is due out on 29 October 2003.
T. N. (ISR13795, wishes to remain anonymous) was sentenced to 28 days for refusing to serve on 14 October. He is due out on 8 November 2003.
Dan Levinson (ISR13796) was sentenced to 7 days for refusing to guard at Medigo Prison - a prison for Palestinian prisoners. He was sentenced on 20 October, and is due out on 26 October 2003.
M B (ISR13797, wishes to remain anonymous) was sentenced on 20 October for refusing to enlist. He was sentenced to 14 days in Military Prison 4, but repeated sentences are likely after his expected release on 2 November 2003.
