Available now: Presentations from the Webinar Series Campaigning for Conscientious Objection to Military Service

In February, War Resisters’ International, Quaker United Nations Office (QUNO) and International Fellowship for Reconciliation (IFOR) started a new webinar series on campaigning for conscientious to military service.

This webinar series aimed to focus on different aspects of campaigning for conscientious objection, sharing the achievements, challenges and learnings from grassroots campaigners and conscientious objectors. 

We held five events in total between February and June 2021. The first webinar focused on Strategic Litigation; the second, on the UN Human Rights Systems; the third, on Public Awareness; the fourth, marking International Conscientious Objection Day on International Solidarity and the Turkey case and; the fifth, on Conscientious Objection and Asylum.

The webinars included presentations from activists and experts from different countries. They also included some case studies and testimonies from CO's around the world. The presentations (in English, Spanish and some in Turkish) are now available on the Refuse to Kill Youtube Channel.
